... a little taste of heaven!...
I've loved baking as long as I can remember. In the picture of me below, I was already up to my elbows in flour at the age of 3! I also remember making a gum drop cake for my Mom when she was out for a few hours when I was in my early teens. Over the years, the recipes have become a little more complicated and I've taken a number of cake decorating courses but the love of creating fabulous desserts has remained constant!
Although I aim to make spectacular looking cakes, the taste is as important (if not more so!) than the aesthetics are. I use only high quality chocolate (Lindt and Callebaut) and usually use vanilla beans in place of extract wherever possible. My buttercreams are meringue based. This is all done to make your cake as delicious as it can possibly be!
