This cake is a sour cream vanilla bean cake filled with blueberry-vanilla bean Italian meringue buttercream and iced in vanilla bean Italian meringue buttercream. Having tasted it, I'm not sure why I haven't made blueberry buttercream before but I certainly will make it again! It is DELICIOUS!
The design of this cake is based on the Gummy Bear song. It is the third cake I've made with this theme. I like the inset stars on the cake board. It's the first time I've used fondant flags on the front of a cake and I'm happy with how they turned out!
