The bottom tier was a Salted Caramel Six Layer Chocolate Cake, which was six thin layers of chocolate cake filled with a salted caramel and iced in a chocolate frosting.
The top tier was pistachio cake with honey-vanilla buttercream.
The cake was covered in light yellow fondant and decorated with gumpaste roses, gumpaste leaves and gumpaste flowers with accents piped on with royal icing.
The top tier was topped with a gumpaste Happy Birthday plaque and the bead border was piped on with royal icing.
