So this "cake" is a bit different than the ones I normally make but the birthday boy specifically requested a "bubble gum ice cream cake with candy inside of it, candy spilling out of it and candy on top of it".
So this cake starts with an oreo crumb crust covered by a layer of bubble gum ice cream topped with mini M&M baking bits, fuzzy peach candies and jelly beans.
There is a layer of Oreo cookies separating the bottom bubble gum ice cream layer from the next layer which was superlicious ice cream (blueberry, strawberry and banana) which was topped with skittles, gummy bears and round gum pieces.
The next layer is cotton candy ice cream which was topped with smarties, sour cherry candies and hubba bubba gum pieces.
The cotton candy layer was topped with birthday cake ice cream sandwiches which was in turn topped with another layer of bubble gum ice cream.
The whole cake was iced with a whipped cream frosting. I added some sprinkles on the bottom third of the cake, piped borders with the whipped cream frosting and added more candy to the top and around the bottom.
Happy Birthday Marcus! I hope your cake is what you had in mind!
