This cake was four layers of coffee buttermilk cake soaked in Kahlua iced with a salted dulce de leche frosting topped with chocolate ganache and coffee macarons filled with dulce de leche and sprinkled with espresso powder. I'm not a coffee drinker but this cake was delicious!
I was happy with how the macarons turned out! I hadn't made them in awhile and I was a bit nervous especially since it was raining the day I made them in typical Vancouver fashion!
